ISSER Pune PhD Programme Entry 2011


The Indian Institute of Science learning and Research (IISER) Pune, Maharashtra, has invited applications for admission into the under mentioned disciplines of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. admission for PhD in Biological Sciences are done on the base of merit of the candidates National Eligibility Test (NET) with CSIR-JRF/UGC-JRF or DBT-JRF-A or ICMR-JRF or INSPIRE-PhD (with rank 1 to 500) or valid GATE (rank <300), followed by an interview. Admissions for PhD in Chemical Sciences are done on the base of merit of the candidates in National Eligibility Test (NET) with CSIR-JRF/UGC-JRF or INSPIRE-PhD or GATE (with rank 500 and below), followed by an interview. Admissions for Mathematical Sciences are done on the base of merits obtained in CSIR-NET/GATE/JEST/NBHM or equal examination valid for the current academic year (2011) in the relevant area of research, followed by an interview.
