OK, here's your chance to sound off on what you do, or what you want to do, to help stop global warming. I'll start it off. I'm open to suggestions, criticisms, and praise; but mainly we want to know what YOU want to do to help! Here's what I do to help stop global warming:
I bicycle almost everywhere I go.
I ride public transit.
I recycle.
I buy locally grown food.
I only use utilities when truly needed.
I support politicians who support the environment.
I donate to organizations who support the environment.
I attend political functions that support the environment.
This is all I can think of for now, but I think it's a good start at least. Ok, so what do you do???

I thank you at the beginning for giving us the opportunity to give out some of what we do in our days to prevent global warming growth
And what I do for helping to reduce this problem is:
1) I use a car with less imitation of co2
2) I grow vegetables and fruits in my garden.
3) Don’t use plastic
4) Try to be up-to-date with what the scientists discover about what causes the problem of global warming.
5) Use most of what is not affected to the environment and to recycle.
And I hope that I do what is best for our environment and if everyone did something about it then this issue will be reduced.

Some say there's not much we can do about it. But doing nothing is hopeless and resigned to the fate. Well, I'm not too. Thanks for the start posting, Brod. Yeahh, let's not perished into the night without a fight.
Here' what I'm doing and what I can still do:
I support awareness campaign about the subject
I support legislations sponsored by environment conscienced lawmakers
I support individuals, organizations who are in research for alternative non-fossil fuel energy source such as solar energy, wind energy etc. I am in fact toying in my mind to really pursue a self research project when I get home to the Phils.
I recycle too.
Influence others to encourage garbage sorting as I do it myself.
I plant vegetables even on a small space wherever I settle for more than a month.
I encourage planting trees.
I don't dispose old cars uncarefully, the aircon system might contains ChlorofloroCarbon that harms the Ozone layer up there.
I keep educating myself about environmental care.
It's not that much but even this little efforts help.
"We will not perished into the night without a fight".

ihave plated more than a 100 trees in my hoese, but they all give fruits, for helping the wild life on the zone to get food. I may palnt more trees.

Nice of you dud. Pls visit www.Aurora.ph it's the website of my home province where some people destroy the ecology and nature thru illegal cutting of trees and we are losing this paradise as time goes by.

I ride the bike everywhere I can.
I am about to quit smoking.
I use recycled writing paper.
I try to eat "bio"-fruit and vegetables.
I/we do not own a car.
PS: Don't let this forum die a slow death okay. It's been ages since someone posted in a forum untill I came along.
Or are you all out of stuff to write? :P

I am almost doing everything what I can... I eat less and drink less, also (only healthy drinks)
Moreover, I give up drinking COCA-COLA !!! And i am trying to stop its using around me.
Coke products are contains GOOD ENOUGH AMOUNT of CO2! As we know, CO2 holds warm in atmosphere.
I just write to remind this... I could not read all pages in this group, yet. Maybe someone is talking about what I talk about now, I do not know. But if we want a calmer world, then we must help nature to gain more O2, and less CO2 ! Please use LESS COKE! or the best way, give up drinking those products.
Not for members, not for you, not for me! For all people who live in this blue planet and who read this sentences... I stopped! I gave up drinking cola and other drinks which contains CO2, do this for OUR world...
There is not any other EARTH !
(Good subject to open a group and a good mission! Congratulations! I hope we can success to stop Global Warming.)

1 of all ... thanks 4 starting this .... In my country public transportation not so helpful ... eventought its make polution more wide ... first is begin from ourselves ... for me ... first of all ... Now ... I don't smoke ... not just now ... but I hopes till I die ... healthy living first ... and then ... I take daily sport such as take a walk for a moment or go to my workplace by take a walk ... and then ... specify your garbage before you throw it to your trash can ... and then ... support the other to do what they think its makes them more healthy such as bicycling or else .... first is started from you ... and then ... to the other ...

I think one thing we should do is to talk with the supermarkets. They give too many bags to their customers. That sure pollutes a lot!
