at first sight you could say that the 2 quotes are in contradiction...

they are actually completing each other... u're right..."Nothing really dies, but all experienced a change of shape and activity" expresses the transformation of the spirit,while "All that live must die,passing through nature to eternity" is about the matter...isn't the world a combination between the two??

Of course, the idea is to complement both to create something similar.

The nature transforms the matter in cosmic energy, so to say, while  the spirit is transformed through its own evolution.

Thus death is only a transition, a process, not a static state ... this idea of Shakespeare I liked.
