even though it is warmer nothing grows;
Perhaps in the far north,where the plant were already acclimated to litle light and low temperatures,photosynthesis has resume.
but where even in the mountains the plants lie dead on the ground,crushed first by the snow and now by the frequent floods,and unable,because of the lack of light to pick themselves up again,and insect crawl over them eating any and all of the litle new growth.
there is very litle to be done about it,now that the temperature has started to rise,these prehistoric creatures so stubbornly resistant to radiation,are reproducing at an unbelievable rate,and of course their natural predators,birds,butterflies,the more delicate insect,like most spiders have vanished,the beetles and roaches are so thick that the ground seems to be moving.
all this means that the scarcity of food is now surpassed by a greater problem;disease
