Well nothing more to say the headline says it all! xD as for me i like the intro riff from Opeth's song Benighted! as for heavy riffs i like also for Opeth's third riff from their song When! this song is one of their best! \m/
solos, let me think: Necrophagist's solo from the song; Advanced Corpse Tumor and Behemoth's solo in Conquer All!

i still think the master is tommy iomi. sleeping village/warning off the first black sabbath album does it for me. and cliff burton from metallica could work that bass.

Riff - "Evil" by Mercyful Fate
Solo - Anything by Jason Becker, but if we're not going to consider that as soloing then it's a twin harmony sweep solo in the song "Cult of the Dead" by a local band called Timelord.

i think riff is "ghost of perdition" by "opeth", "dAmAge done" by "dArk trAnquillity" And "kick the chAir" by "megAdeth" i like mArty friedmAn's solos "tornAdo of souls" when in "megAdeth" And his solo on "brightest stArs of All - wArmth in A wilderness"
