Thank you for your inquiry. To help make our members’ experience with PerfSpot the best it can be, we are asking members to simply fill out some basic information in their profiles before sending out friend requests. Before sending a friend request, make sure that you have posted a profile picture, filled in some basic information about yourself in the “About Me” section of your profile, and joined a Network. Then, just confirm your email address, and you’re ready to start making new friends!
1.) To upload your profile picture, log in to your PerfSpot account and click on the link that says Profile Picture below the current one that you have set.

Now, click the Browse button to search your computer for any image that you would like to use as your profile picture. Once you have selected the image that you want, be sure to click the “Upload” button at the bottom of the screen. Once you have clicked the “Upload” button, click the tabbed link that says “myPerfLife” to return to your PerfLife profile page. Finally, press the F5 button to refresh your page, and your new profile picture should appear.
2.) To add information to the "About Me" section of your profile, just log in to your PerfSpot account and click the "About Me" link beneath your profile picture. Here, you can make any changes that you like to your "About Me" section. Be sure to click the “Update” button at the bottom of the page when you are finished, so that your changes to this section will be saved.
3.) To join a Network, click on Networks on the top of your myPerfLife page. This page will then show you all the categories of Networks. Click on Add in the category you wish to add your Network in, and you can join a Network.
4.) To confirm your email address, simply log in to your PerfSpot account, and click the “Email Address Not Confirmed” link in your “myPerfLife” page located underneath your Profile Picture. From here, just follow the simple instructions for confirmation of your email address so that you can begin to make full use of your profile. If you are requesting that a new confirmation email be sent to you, and are still not receiving this email from PerfSpot, please access your email program, then add PerfSpot to your list of allowed senders, and be sure to also check your spam or junk folders for the confirmation email. You may need to request another confirmation email from PerfSpot after you have made these changes within your email program.
