Areal woman is proud and strong. She respects herself and others who have earned her respect. She is aware of who she is. She does not seek definition from the person she chooses to be with, nor does she expect them to read her thoughts. She establishes her own identity as a valuable human being. She is quite capable of articulating her wants and needs. She has no fear in seeking guidance from others when she is feeling vulnerable, weak or frail. She must understand that we were all placed on this earth for each other; at times, we all need help.
A real woman is always hopeful. She has within herself, the ability to make all her dreams come true on her own. She knows love; therefore she gives love without measure. She realizes there is an undeniable, true beauty in “wearing her heart on her sleeve”. However, she recognizes that her love has exceptional value; it must be reciprocated. She carries her wealth in her heart. Her love is the most beautiful gift that she can give to another human being. If her love is taken for granted, misused or abused, it will certainly diminish. It will die a slow and painful death.
A real woman has a wealth of inspiration and a great deal of endurance; she is steadfast and able. She knows that she will, at times, need to inspire others to reach their full potential and show them how to use their abilities resourcefully. This is where ‘tough love’ played its role in my parenting, My Angels. You thought I was being unfair; I was merely trying to guide and teach you to accept nothing less than what you deserve!
A real woman knows and faces her past, understands her present and battles toward a hopeful future. She does not live in fear of the future because of her past, no matter what the past may hold. Instead, she understands that her life experiences are merely lessons that were meant to bring her closer to self-knowledge, unconditional self-love and understanding. If you cannot learn to completely know and understand yourself; you will never find anyone else who can or will.
You are your own best friend; you always will be. Until you grasp onto these concepts, you will not find a way to give your heart away completely or to share your love in the way that it was meant to be
