Hi everyone, no matter what corner of the globe you happen to live in!



I a 43-year old from Novi Sad.

I tend to think of myself as an environmentally conscious cosmopolitan. I have East European and Serbian blood running in my veins. I speak English with American accent, which can be put down to the fact that as a teenager I used to tune in to the Voice of America and Radio Canada International and have sort of picked up the accent.  Indeed, I can pass myself off as an American or Canadian and get away with it.

I am well up on ecology, astronomy, geopolitics, history, philosophy, linguistics (I have a knack for languages and can therefore be considered a polyglot, because I speak English, German Russian and some Spanish; I understand a little bit of Italian and Portuguese).

Ich beherrsche die deutsche als auch die englische Sprache, obwohl ich bin meisten Menschen im Englischen (leider nicht im Deutschen) viel ueber. Wann ich aus dem Englischen oder Serbo-Kroatischen ins Deutsche uebersetze, mir koennen moeglicherweise einige Fehler unterlaufen sein.

Ich habe zwei Verwandte die in Berlin seit ueber dreissig Jahren leben. Als ich 1988. in Berlin war (also vor der Wende), habe ich in der Atmosphaere damals gespuert dass die Wiedervereinigung Deutschlands nah war, und sogar habe ich vorhergesagt und vorgesehen dass Deutschland  wiedervereinigt sein wird. Meine Cousine (Mirjana), ihr Freund (Wolfgang) und dessen Mutter waren etwa skeptisch darueber. Aber, tatsaechlich, am 9. November 1989. fall die Berliner Mauer!

With warmest wishes to all peace-loving (young in particular) people of all races, nationalities, confessions (I am a proponent of ecumenism, even though I am an atheist), and political convictions!
