Lavalier Alves is a native New Englander and presently makes his homein Wilbraham, MA.  Mr. Alves has two young boys that keep him busywhen he is not working. 
The three of them are all big sports fans, and name the Red Sox and thePatriots as their favorites.  Lavalier Alves stays in shape withthe help of his regular tennis league.  In addition his family andwork life, Mr. Alves makes time to volunteer his time with severallocal charitable organizations.  He serves on the board of theOscal Hillel Plotkin Family Foundation. 
Lavalier Alves graduated from Northeastern University where he receiveda degree with honors and majored in Accounting.  Mr. Alves went onto gain his Professional Masters in Business Administration from theUniversity of Massachusetts at Amherst. 

Mr. Lavalier Alves is currently the Controller for BerkshireDevelopment.  Lavalier Alves enjoys what he does and has beenthere since May of 2000. Berkshire Development, LLC is a well respectedreal estate development company headquartered in Massachusetts. Prior to Berkshire Development, Lavalier Alves served as the FinanceManager at Big Y Foods, Inc a grocery chain that makes its home inSpringfield, MA.
Mr. Lavalier Alves also has gone on to become a CFM - Certified inFinancial Management, as well as a CMA - Certified ManagementAccountant.  He also speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
