I am a native Texan (born and raised in El Paso, but also spent 23 years in San Antonio!) that currently is living and working in North Carolina.  I am the single mom of a 16 year old daughter and look forward to her graduating from high school, as it means I will be able to move back to my home state of Texas.  I have predominantly worked in the field of medical research, but am also a certified teacher and have five years of doing that, also. My daughter and I live with our two dogs, Navy and Pumpkin, and our pet bird, Alex.  I am a science nerd AND a self taught computer geek! Yeh!  I will talk your ear off and laugh way too much, but try to enjoy life the best way possible!!
