Konata Izumi(Kona-chan) A superb athelete and a 'do-as-i-like' type of girl. However, she doesn't like sport very much but immensly enjoys video games and anime. She does not fit into the norm very well. Or to put it nicely, she's a very unique girl.
Kagami Hiiragi(Kagami) Tsukasa's twin sister. However her grades are nothing like her younger sister's. She is a very hardworking, but vain, person. She met Konata through her sister. Even though they are not in the same class, they hang out together.
Tsukasa Hiiragi(Tsukasa) Kagami's twin sister. An ordinary girl in all aspects of life. Easily influenced by situations. A kind-hearted person. She can handle Konata's attitude, this shows that she has a strong will.
Miyuki Takara(Miyuki) Konata Tsukasa's classmate. She is an elegant-looking girl with excellent grades and a very kind personality. However, she is a klutz. As both Kagami and her monitors, they have a very good relationship.
Nanako Kuroi(Kuroi-sensei) Homeroom teacher of Konata and her friends. She is a type of a teacher that can be found in any school, she is like a friend to her students. Care-free, easy going, and often exchanges video games with Konata. She is responsible for the world history class.
